The season for sweaters is in and as the weather turns cold, there are so many possibilities. However my favorite classic piece worn for winter is the cable knit sweater or cardigan. Not only do they keep you warm, but knits can be paired with any outfit. They can be dressed up and worn over dresses, or worn with jeans for a cool, casual, warm look. Knits are just as affordable, as they are versatile and they are the staple pieces that complete any successful closet or wardrobe.

My favorite cable knit sweater is the Cashmere cable knit sweater from J. Crew. They have a specific shawl style collar that gives the look a lean towards comfort. If J. Crew is not your style, don’t worry! You can get similar ones from Forever 21, Banana Republic, Zara, Uniqlo, and L.L. Bean.
